Only about software I am not sure if I would be able to control headphones vs. it is too expensive.Īs for now: I am totaly interested into Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen audio interface. I have M-Audio Uber naaah, it is not acceptable becouse of the design.

But since I do not have such a mic this was irelevant for me. the thing with software: I could not control anything with software I got. This interface is not for I already returned my Scarlett Solo to the store I bought it. And besides that I do not know where to buy it. then I would give a no-go for your second reply about impedance: it would go fine with yes, Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 would do fine I do not need naaah, this interface looks ugly like hell.

I have Shure SRH1840 headphones with impedance Since you are mentioning the internet reposrts: issues with drivers and stability. I would have to buy 192|8 but it is somehow too expensive for me since Focusrite 2i2 offers all this. my headphones have to high impedance for 192|4 version (basic version - what I need). I know it is lame - the audio quality matters after all. I would not take this audio interface you mentioned since I do not like design. Sorry for late since all this basic audio interfaces are similar with price. And about mentioned product lines: I do not need all those inputs and outputs - only the basic thing is needed: monitors and headphones. PS: Sorry, I forgot to write: my budget for sound interface is max 250.00€. Either through some switch/knob or through potentiometer. So I will have to have USB audio interface that is capable to have sound only on headphones. The thing is I mostly do my music at night when I have peace. The mandatory this is the audio interface must have 192/24 sound and that the audio interface can have sound/music played only on headphones. M-Audio is acceptable because I already own two M-Audio products (sudio monitors and mic). 3rd thing is: that the product is acceptable in appearanceĪs for now I am interested in these three product lines:įocusrite and Native Instruments lines are so gorgeous. 1st is: that I can listen sound/music only on headphones (so that the output for monitor speakers are OFF) Thing is I am not skilled with this type of products. Which one do you think I should get? (You can, for sure, advise me about another one – in the same price range!).I am about to buy a new external studio USB sound interface card for my computer. Knowing that maybe I’ll find the Komplete Audio 6 with the amazing Guitar Rig 5 offered (I’m really interested in that stuff), and Focusrite is a little cheaper than the Komplete thing (also an important thing!)… what would be your advice?Īny of you guys has already worked with those interfaces? So I guess they’re both in the same league. They both have usb 2.0 (so I hope I’ll get less latency issues), they both have midi in/out (also and important thing for me), and they both have at least two channels (in/out). The Komplete Audio 6 USB Interface is a high-quality 6-channel audio interface.

From the custom, streamlined circuit design, through the hand-picked components to the analog volume knob on top of the unit every part of the interface is designed to preserve signal clarity. So, with all that in mind, I’ll move to an usb 2.0 audio interface.įocusrite Scarlett 2i4 and Komplete Audio 6. Komplete Audio 6 has been designed in-house by Native Instruments. I know by now that for the “next record” I’ll have to do something with my vst’s running under Reaper (in a Intel core i3-2310m / 8 GB DDR3)… ‘cause it is impossible to work unless I freeze some tracks (kind of 30 tracks/ project, with vocals, guitar rig, EzDrummer in the running). And it is a mess to try to record voices with latency (you cannot really get into the feeling). However, I cannot hide that while recording, I experienced a lot of latency issues (manly with voice taping/monitoring).

It was an amazing device, that has powerful capacities: ALESIS IO2 EXPRESS. Once more, I need your precious help and advice.
